All groups are self-financing, are run democratically and develop according to the members’ wishes. Attendance at meetings is subject to the space available at the venue and the agreement of the co-ordinator. When hosts of Activity Group functions provide refreshments, each member should offer 30p towards the cost of provisions. Car sharing is encouraged.

Groups aim to share knowledge, skills and experience in an enjoyable way with no major financial outlay. The groups meet as often as they wish but typically weekly or monthly. New groups are formed as required by members and we always welcome and encourage the formation of new groups and new subjects.
